Grace’s Pantry is an outreach ministry of five local churches that seek to ease the struggling of local families who find themselves in need. (Prince of Peace Lutheran, Lafayette Reformed Baptist, Franklin Presbyterian, Ogdensburg
Presbyterian Church, and Hamburg Baptist.) By providing assistance with the acquisition of food for these families we hope to share God’s love and concern for their physical and spiritual needs.
There are several ways for you to continue to help out with this ministry. You may see fit to donate financially. Your gift is used solely for the purchase of perishable items that we need to keep either frozen or refrigerated including items such as eggs, cheese, juice, meat, bread and butter.
Another way is to donate canned or boxed items which can be brought to the churches or dropped off at the Pantry between 10am and noon Monday through Friday. Examples of such items would be pasta, sauce, canned vegetables, canned fruits, soups and cereals. Perhaps the most important way to help out is to hold up Grace’s
Pantry in prayer each and every day.
While there is a certain satisfaction in having full shelves we realize that our purpose is actually to empty those shelves in service to our brothers and sisters who are in need. It is heartwarming to see how God uses his people to maintain and provide for this ministry. God has provided you, a caring core of Christian believers, along with a
dedicated group of volunteers, with a mission to share his love to those in want.
Thank you for your recent donations and any other assistance you may feel led to provide. If you are interested in volunteering at Grace’s Pantry feel free to contact us at 862-266-9126.
