Dick Sharber has been serving as pastor at Hamburg Baptist Church since 2009.  He and wife, Susie (who teaches 8th grade science), live in Oakland, with 3 adult children spread around the map.  Dick has served several American Baptist Churches in NJ and has also worked with hospice as chaplain / bereavement counselor for the past ten years.  He graduated from Palmer Seminary (PA) and has been enriched by a Doctor of Ministry program at Trinity Seminary (IL).  Pastor Dick is thankful for the renewal, challenges and rewards in ministry, and has found the congregation at Hamburg Baptist to be the sweetest and most gracious with whom he has served.

Alex has been sharing his talents with Hamburg Baptist Church for several years as our Pianist, Guitarist and Organ player.  Alex is currently attending William Paterson University studying Music with a Jazz concentration.

Eric Kerssen is a multi-talented musician who plays both the piano and the accordian. Eric's passion for music and professionalism help to make our music ministry a vital part of every service.  Eric also performs during many of our monthly Coffee Houses.  

Dani is a singer/song writer and vocal coach.  She has been part of Hamburg Baptist Church for several years, performing at Coffee House and services.  Dani has joined the praise team full time and will be performing in weekly services.
